Thanksgiving Message from Bishop Jung

During this season of Thanksgiving, I pause for a moment to give thanks to God and invite you to do the same.

This year, I’m especially thankful for the warm welcome my wife Im and I have received as we returned to Wisconsin to serve as your bishop, and for all those who helped make the transition go smoothly and well. I’m thankful for God’s amazing love and transforming touch in our lives as we together seek to live as God’s people in faithfulness.

I give thanks for God’s redeeming love in Christ, and the power to serve and love that Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit manifests in all who trust and follow.

I give thanks to God for clergy and laity in mutual and shared ministry, for the leaders of the Wisconsin Conference—Cabinet, staff, and all who provide leadership and advance our shared mission and ministry in congregations, communities, and throughout our worldwide connection.

Please join me in giving thanks, and pray with me for continued growth in spiritual vitality and faith in God’s abundance!

Thanksgiving blessings!

Hee-Soo Jung, Bishop
