2021 Statistics Update

The North West District is the leader this week with 12% of the churches having completed the statistical report and another 19% started.  For years, the deadline has been 1/31.  We decided last year and again this year to extend it to 2/28 so you can make sure the numbers are accurate and your pace is not so rushed.  Many of you make it a team effort to involve many different people in gathering the attendance, income, expenses, asset information…. And we know this takes time.  THANK YOU!  The numbers are very important because we use certain lines for the subsequent year apportionment calculations and for planning purposes.

We’d like to recognize anyone out there who has worked on statistical reports for a long time.  Send us your name and the number of years you have been completing the report.  We’ll recognize those >10 and if we have them >20 years or more.

Good Advice from Church Mutual

As a major winter storm heads toward the Northeast, we are reminded how unpredictable weather can be, especially in winter. Temperatures across much of the United States drop dramatically during winter, increasing the chances of frozen pipes and resulting damage to your building.

Whether your organization is used to harsh winters and cold temperatures, struggling to cope with the cold, or you just want to plan ahead, we want to help you reduce your risk! Use our Winter Storm & Freeze Preparedness Plan to ensure you are properly assessing and planning for these risks.
