As our report to the 2023 Annual Conference, the Anti-Racism Task Force will conduct a 15 minute participatory theater performance during the plenary session. The performance requires 5-10 volunteers and will be about an issue that has arisen in a cross-cultural setting. Participatory theater performances are improvisational and include an invitation for the audience to participate in the solution. No previous performance experience is necessary.
Dr. Amy Sarno, director of the theater department at Beloit College will train performers and oversee the performance. Practice times are Thursday evening, June 8th at 6:00 pm and Friday morning, June 9th at 10:00 am.
