WI UM Camps Raised $33,474 on Giving Tuesday!

With your help and support, WI UM Camps raised $33,474 for summer camp scholarships! On behalf of all the camp staff, the camping board, and the campers who will be impacted by your generosity: Thank you!!

We truly could not do the work we do at camp without your support, encouragement, and trust. The funds will be stewarded well so they can bring even more campers to Pine Lake and Lake Lucerne so they can experience God in a new way.

Faith Alive 2.0! in 2022

Faith Alive 2.0 will be offered in January and April of 2022. The goals remain the same: To help all participants to explore their faith – To offer an opportunity for learning and growth – To bring knowledgeable faculty members who can share their wisdom with those wishing to deepen their faith. This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY for YOU to grow your faith!

These sessions will be open, via ZOOM, to all laity and clergy in the Wisconsin Conference. NOTE: Past participants of Faith Alive! are welcome to join us for Faith Alive 2.0.  All participants may sign up for one or both sessions. We do ask that anyone signing up plan to participate for the full session(s).

The Institute of Congregational Development: 
Creating a Culture of Permanent Growth


Do you have a deep passion for people in your community who do not already have a relationship with Jesus or the church? Do you feel the calling to plant a new church or start a new ministry or worship experience? Do you feel the calling to revitalize ministry in your congregation?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, you are invited to participate in the Institute of Congregational Development (ICD) in 2022. The ICD is a comprehensive, ten months leadership development opportunity for those leaders ready to take their ministry to the next level. This intensive training includes 10 on-site sessions, monthly reading assignments, monthly L3 Incubator (covenant) group meetings, two field trips, and the opportunity to learn, share, and celebrate alongside a dynamic group of clergy and laity from around the state.

Arlington UMC Hat & Mitten Drive

Arlington United Methodist Church in Poynette is hosting a hat and mitten drive to benefit the local elementary school. The drive dates are November 21 to December 31. The drop off basket is located in front of the AUMC church altar. Please contact Michelle K. or Pastor Michelle at  608-635-2424 / michele.koopmans@gmail.com if you need items picked up or you can drop off items at the Poynette UMC Church Office (402 S Main Street, Poynette) anytime on Wednesdays. 


Northcott Neighborhood House Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway was a Great Success- Because of You!

On behalf of Executive Director Kearney, "you made the 'Tis the Season Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway' a huge success! You all were such a blessing to thousands of people on Thanksgiving Day. The Northcott Neighborhood House fed several thousands of people and brought smiles and happiness to many hearts! Bolivia Partnership Update

If you have been following the progress of the Motorcycles for Bolivia project sponsored by the Wisconsin Conference Bolivia Partnership Committee, you will be delighted to know that funds for the first motorcycle have been sent to Bolivia through the General Board of Global Ministries.  Funds for two additional motorcycles will become available soon. 

The Wisconsin Conference Bolivia Partnership Committee has set a goal to fund the costs for five Yamaha motorcycles to be used by pastors in the rural areas of Bolivia where the roads are rugged and difficult to travel.

Engaging the Community for Social Transformation

On December 16 from 11:00am - 12:00pm, United Methodist Ministries is presenting a webinar with guest speaker Dr. Anthony Everett, Executive Director of Mission Behind Bars and Beyond. The organization’s mission is to educate every community in Kentucky to welcome, support, mentor, and equip formerly incarcerated citizens with the tools needed to successfully re-enter society. Dr. Everett is a social entrepreneur, public theologian, and prophetic activist who has been involved in church planting multiethnic congregations and has served local churches from Lexington to Dallas to Cleveland, while working for social transformation.

Your Ministry of Planning and Leading Worship

Would you like to prepare to do “pulpit supply” or assist in leading worship with your pastor? This course runs Jan. 10- Feb. 4, 2022 and will focus on basic understandings of worship and gaining skills for leading worship. It fulfills requirements for “Leading Worship” and “Planning Worship” needed for Lay Speaker Certification. The course will explore:
