Prayers in Honor of Asian Heritage Month
The month of May is Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month. For the next four weeks, prayers will be shared by the three caucuses among us: Korean, Hmong, and Asian Caucuses. Churches are invited to lift up the prayer of the week in corporate worship. It may also be shared through your church communication so that people can include it in their personal prayer this month.

For the first week, Bishop Jung provides a prayer and AAPI clergy speak out #StopAsianHate.

Seeking to Become an Antiracist Church?
The Lakelands Institute is offering a new study for churches, small groups, Sunday school classes, and committees.  In seeking to build an antiracist church, words are important, and what we mean when we use them matters even more.

Join Rev. Neal Christie for a fascinating exploration of words and concepts that define and shape our work together. Hold conversations around words like: Bias, Inclusion, Race, Anti-Oppression, Polarization...along with many other words we use to better follow Jesus's commandment to "love your neighbor as yourself."  Read More
