Annual Conference Awards deadline April 16th

We are currently accepting nominations for our Annual Awards given out at Annual Conference.  Nomination deadlines are April 16, 2021. To view a list of the awards and applications for nominations, please click here

 


Trustees Approve 10 Groat Grants for Local Rural Churches

On April 8, the Conference Board of Trustees approved 10 grant application totaling $114,552 from the Groat Grant program.  Grants were provided for indoor plumbing, ramps, heating and electrical through the minimum standards grant.  Grants were provide for worship technology and a wheelchair lift through the accessibility grant. Northcott Neighborhood House Annual Meeting

The Northcott Neighborhood House will be holding its Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 25 at 2 p.m. Board members, corporation members and interested parties are welcome at this 59th Annual Meeting, to be held at 2460 North Sixth Street, Milwaukee.  The 2020 Annual Meeting was not held, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but board members have been able to continue to meet throughout 2020 and 2021.  For more information please contact Gail Burgess at hb53104@aol.com.


April 18th is Native American Ministries Sunday

Native American Ministries Sunday celebration is April 18, 2021. This offering is collected the third Sunday of Easter and funds urban ministries with Native Americans, scholarships for Native Americans attending United Methodist seminaries and annual conference Native American ministries.  Read More

Earth Day Resources to use in Worship

Earth Day is April 22; churches typically observe Earth Day Sunday during the month of April. It is an opportunity to reflect on the goodness of God’s creation and the human responsibility to steward it through worship, education and action.  Earth Day worship resources were prepared by Global Ministries and have been curated by the Rev.
