Governor Extends Safer at Home Order

Easter Season greetings and blessings,

Governor Evers has just released a new order which extends the Wisconsin Safer at Home Order to end at 8:00 AM, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 (unless it changes in the meantime). While there are a few changes in the order from the previous one, the order maintains the same guidelines for our churches which can be found here: https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/WIGOV/bulletins/285bc79.

Today’s press release announcing the new guidance can be found here: https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/WIGOV/bulletins/286d626

Safety guidelines for the public in the order are:

The public should continue to follow simple steps to avoid exposure to the virus and prevent illness including:

  • Avoiding social gatherings with people of all ages (including playdates and sleepovers, parties, large family dinners, visitors in your home, non-essential workers in your house);
  • Frequent and thorough hand washing with soap and water;
  • Covering coughs and sneezes;
  • Avoiding touching one's face; and
  • Staying home.
