The Long Term Recovery Partnership (Flood Relief) is being hosted at Winding Rivers UMC in New Lisbon. They are in need of additional volunteer to help rebuild the homes affected by last fall’s disasters, and the spring thaw as well.
Last week we had over 700 volunteer hours - 8 homes in 5 communities worked on. We are looking for other churches or organizations to help cook and serve meals for the volunteers, provide deserts or bring their own groups in to volunteer. We are currently working in 3 counties on homes that need a lot of repair and with people who need a lot of love. Please call 608-562-3813 if you have any questions.
