Discover…Mission: Peru is an upcoming mission trip with the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission - North Central Jurisdiction (UMVIM-NCJ). The trip is for young adults (ages 18-35) seeking a cultural immersion mission experience. Lynnette Jordan, the Assistant Disaster Response Coordinator for the Wisconsin Conference, will be one of the team leaders.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills partnering with Peruvian young adults, and will work on light construction at Miramar and Ica Peru.
The trip is from December 30, 2019 – January 10, 2020. Lodging will be at Miraflores Church in Lima. Cost will be $1100, which includes lodging, meals, and in-country transportation. Transportation costs to Peru are being determined.
