The Wisconsin Conference Delegation has had a tradition of inviting input from United Methodists across the state as to whom it might consider to endorse as episcopal candidates for the upcoming Jurisdictional Conference. Therefore, we invite any Wisconsin United Methodist who would like to nominate an Elder to be considered for endorsement by the Delegation to please send the clergyperson’s name, along with a brief explanation of why you believe they would make a good bishop, to Don Cramer, the Delegation Secretary, by October 1, 2019.

At its October 6 meeting, the Delegation will evaluate all suggested names based on a list of qualities developed to assess and evaluate bishops and potential candidates. Nominees invited to continue on in the process will be invited to interview in person with the full Delegation on November 17.
