Members of the Korean Caucus had a family summer camp with the title of “Resting in the Presence of God” from August 11-13, at Pine Lake Camp in West Field. Forty people from eleven families gathered and enjoyed the beauty of God's world as we renewed our callings and shared our stories of ministry and life.
We had a wide range of ages at the camp, with the youngest participant being two-years-old and the oldest being seventy-years-old. The participant that came the farthest to participate was from four hours away. I appreciate that ELCC helped us to have this event and that newly appointed pastors in Wisconsin could join this camp. Also, I appreciate that a few members shared God’s word and prayers and others, including staff, helped this camp to be successful.
