The Wisconsin United Methodist Foundation (WUMF) is accepting applications to serve on our Board of Directors. The Wisconsin United Methodist Foundation focuses on providing financial services and stewardship training that helps gifts grow to support ministries. We strive to strengthen and empower local churches, whether by training churches to understand best practices to reach donors, awarding grants for new ministries, or helping churches embark on a capital campaign.
WUMF is a non-profit 501(C)3 charitable organization with a long history of serving the United Methodist Church in the state of Wisconsin. Our mission is to assist the ministries of United Methodists in Wisconsin through lifelong financial stewardship. Our Board of Directors is comprised of clergy and lay members who uphold the bylaws of the Foundation and serve on various sub-committees to ensure we are assisting United Methodist congregations, agencies, and clergy to promote God’s love through their local ministries.
Our Board members are volunteers and serve a four-year term. Each member serves on one of our four sub-committees. We have two full board meetings per year in April and October. Other committee meetings are held through the year.
