The Commission on Archives & History held their annual Heritage & Archives Retreat celebrating 50 years of The United Methodist Church! The retreat also included the 70-year history of Pine Lake Camp featuring previous site directors and a story of the love of nature and the provision of spiritual space for those of all ages. In addition to hosting this annual event, our Archives department collects, preserves and promotes the history and records of the Annual Conference. Our Archivist has responded to over 500 research requests during the course of this year! Requests come from local churches and individuals from across our Conference. This is an unseen way in which your apportionment dollars are at work!
