Our Conference supports the Ministerial Education Fund 100%. This is one of seven General Church funds. This fund was established at the 1968 General Conference with a mission to engage and equip the Church to recruit and educate persons for the ordained ministry. 75% is administered by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. 25% of the apportioned funds is administered by our Wisconsin Board of Ordained Ministry who provides scholarship assistance to seminary and course of study students who are certified candidates for ministry and who intend to pursue ordained or licensed ministry in the United Methodist Church in Wisconsin.
