A Plan for Revitalizing the Connection
As circuit ministry enters its second decade, clergy and laity from around the conference provided insight and feedback into ways circuit ministry works well and where there is need for adjustment and improvement. 2014 marks the first conference-wide “upgrade” to circuit ministry: 2.0. These sweeping changes are in direct response to the suggestions and requests of circuit leadership throughout the conference. Circuit Ministry 2.0 builds upon the strengths of our current structure, but includes change in several key areas:
- Laity circuit teams will work closely and collaboratively with circuit clergy
- Circuit leadership will study and interpret demographic information in every region of the state
- Laity and clergy will function as “think tanks” to plan and implement cooperative and collaborative ministries to Imagine Wisconsin Anew
