Special rates from Vanco plus no monthly fees through August!

For those of you with funds set up under the Wisconsin Conference’s Vanco account, those funds will close in June. To help with this transition and to ensure that your egiving is not interrupted, we have worked with Vanco to secure a discounted rate plus no monthly fee through August. Please connect with Vanco directly to transition your account. Here are more details:

With Vanco’s simple and secure eGiving and communication tools, you can offer your members an easy way to give and engage with your ministries. There are many new and enhanced features such as a website template and guide, events set-up, mobile giving, a new storytelling giving page, text-to-give, and more.  For congregations that transition their accounts between March 15 and August 31, 2020, the special rate will be 1.00% + $0.45 per transaction for ACH fees(bank transfers), and 2.75% for all debit/credit transactions + $0.45 per transaction. There will be no monthly fee through August, and after September it will be $5. Request a demo here to get your individual account started or call 866.533.4766.

Conference Budget

Our giving transforms Wisconsin and the World! The faithful giving of the local United Methodist Churches within Wisconsin empowers much needed ministry. Our mission is to Make Disciples for the Transformation of the World and we accomplish that through the giving of time, talents and treasures of the people of Wisconsin! Access information on our budget in summary, detail and narrative forms.

Local Church Finances

Our Finance and Administration Office is a resource for local United Methodist Churches in Wisconsin. The task of providing leadership in financial ministry is a great honor and an awesome responsibility. As a leader and steward, we want to provide you with a basic understanding of your role and the best practices. View resources on handling your church finances and view information on upcoming trainings, both in person and via webinar.

Apportionments

Apportionment is the term used to describe the amount that each United Methodist congregation is asked to contribute to the wider United Methodist Church in support of our missions and ministries around the world. In other words, it is A Portion Meant for Others. We sometimes call Apportionments the term Connectional Giving because it is an outward and visible sign of the connection within the UMC.
