The days of most people showing up at church, joining, and becoming active without intentional outreach and hospitality on behalf of local congregations are gone. Unfortunately, many people in our congregations are uncomfortable with traditional evangelism (even if it is not pushy) and guests don’t become active in the church just because they attend an event.  This one-day seminar will equip laity and pastors with the tools they need to reach and welcome new people in an effective way. In addition, participants will learn about the Wisconsin United Methodist Foundation’s New Ministry Grants, which can help fund these new outreach and hospitality ministries.
