F. U. N. (First United Neighborhood) Fest was held from 2-6 p.m. on August 30, and was open to everyone from their church and the community. Media Coordinator Jeanne Whiteside said, “we had food, games, bingo, music, a bouncy house, a dunk tank, face painting, and prizes! The fire department brought two amazing trucks for everyone to explore, and we even had a K-9 Unit join us. There was also a tour of our historic church building during the event. It was a great time. The opportunity to share the love of God and the fellowship with our neighbors filled the hearts of all who attended. The was the first of many outreach programs we plan to have, and by the Grace of God, we were able to create a neighborhood event where everyone was fed both body and soul!” Click here to see photos.
