Moving from scarcity to abundance is the theme of the 2014 Stewardship Retreat at Pine Lake Camp August 15-16, sponsored by the Wisconsin United Methodist Foundation. You can have 10-12 working hours with your team to develop a 3-5 year Stewardship Ministry Plan for your church or charge at this retreat. There are two tracks this year: one for teams attending for the first time to learn how to develop a 3-5 Year Stewardship Ministry Plan for their church or charge, and another for returning teams to refine plans begun in previous years. The keynote speaker this year is the Rev. David Bell, President of the Michigan UM Foundation. This full retreat starts at 10 a.m. Friday and ends at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Drive-in day is Friday, August 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $45 for double occupancy, $90 for single occupancy, and $20 for the Drive-in day.
