At our Annual Conference this year, members of the conference witnessed a group of people coming forward to the front with caps and gowns and holding a certificate from the Instituto de Desarrollo Congregacional (IDC).  While some people were celebrating, others were asking themselves why caps and gowns? What’s the big deal?

The deal is that these are men and women who have given their life to Christ and accepted the call to plant new congregations and faith communities in Wisconsin in a volunteer bases, reaching out the growing Hispanic/Latino Population and making disciples of Jesus Christ. Some of them have never graduated or wear any cap and gown in their life because they didn’t have the opportunity to go to a formal school. But God in his love and mercy has called them, does this sound familiar?

The first disciples were fishermen, humble people, but they transformed the world.
And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him. Luke 5:11

Congratulations to the 2019 Class of IDC!
