On-site check-in for Annual Conference, which runs June 15-18 at the Madison Marriott West, begins this Friday, June 15 at 10 a.m. That afternoon, join us for opening worship with words from Bishop Modesto Mamani, Bishop of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Bolivia, and music from Jorge Lockwood. We look forward to seeing you there! Click here to see the final agenda and click here to visit our website for more information.

As a subscriber to eNews, you will be receiving daily news updates from Annual Conference. There will be no eNews on June 19, and the regular newsletter will resume on June 26.

In addition, please note that most of our staff will be at the Marriott beginning Friday morning for set-up, so the phones will be taking messages, but not answered by a person. Please pray for a successful Wisconsin Annual Conference session!

Annual Conference Highlights

  • Speakers: Bishop Modesto Mamani, the Bishop of Bolivia, will preach during Opening Worship, Thomas Kemper will lead us in Bible Study, Bishop Eduard Khegay, the Bishop of Russia, will preach at the Ordination service and Bishop Linda Lee will preach at our memorial worship service. Rev. Howard Hintzman will preach at the Retiree Celebration.
  • “50 Years Together” Banquet on Saturday: Join Bishop Donald Ott, Bishop Linda Lee, and Bishop Hee-Soo Jung as we mark “50 Years Together” at our Annual Conference banquet this year. Hear our Bishops reflect on key aspects of our shared history over the past 50 years. The Commission on Archives and History will lead us as we take a look back at the 50th anniversary of the union of The Methodist Church and The Evangelical United Brethren Church to form the United Methodist Church at the historic Uniting Conference in Dallas, Texas in 1968. Celebrate our union, and hear from those present at the time, and at the Wisconsin Uniting Conference in 1969.
