The final Learner-Leader Academy session of 2016, sponsored by the Discipleship Leadership Executive Team, will offer a public workshop entitled “Key Practices that Will Provide Direction and Meaning to a Comprehensive Plan for Small Groups” from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 12 at Mosinee UMC. The Korean Ministry Plan has successfully developed a resource called 'Longing to Meet You’ on small group ministry in and through local churches both in South Korea and the U.S. Paul H. Chang (GBGM Staff) and his team will lead participants, sharing the best practices from United Methodist Churches both in Korea and the U.S. They will make a presentation on how to develop a comprehensive plan for small group ministries in local churches and then impact the surrounding communities. Free books and materials on small group ministries will be available at the session. The workshop is open to all churches in the Wisconsin Annual Conference. Registration fee is $10, payable at the session on November 12 for lunch and materials.
