You are invited to host Bishop Nelson Wesamoyo, the Ugandan leader of the Equipping Conference for Effective Christian Leaders (Wisconsin Advance Special #7945), when he visits Wisconsin September 11 through October 2.  He would like to come and visit your faith community to tell you about how your support has been helping Christians grow in faith and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, specifically in Uganda. The biggest news he has to share is how a two-week yearly conference to equip clergy and lay leaders has grown to include a seminary. The seminary opened its doors in August 2015 and 20 students have completed their first year. They are looking forward to the next semester and you have the opportunity to help them with their studies. Bishop Wesamoyo would like to visit you in person to extend appreciation for your past support. To host Bishop Wesamoyo, or if you have any questions, please contact Laverne Larson at 608-606-4648 or at This email address is being protected from spambots. Larry serves as technical advisor to the Africa University Farm and works with the University’s farm manager to develop an agricultural program that makes the university farm more efficient in its roles of teaching and research. Jane teaches English to students from non-English-speaking countries, and has worked with children and youth, developed student groups, and worked with women to establish a Sunday School for children.
