North Central District Superintendent Forrest Wells and a small delegation representing Wisconsin, including lay leader Deanna Shimko and Dorothy Radley, are currently in South Korea, attending the Dongbu Annual Conference session. The Dongbu Annual Conference is our sister Conference, and every other year, a group of delegates travels to the other Conference for their Annual Conference session. Forrest said, “I will bring greetings at the opening session of Annual Conference and preach for their ordination service on Wednesday, April 6th. I will also be preaching at Wonju First Korean Methodist Church on Sunday, April 10th before returning to the USA on April 11th. The primary focus of our presence at the Dongbu Annual Conference is to continue to build and nurture relationships with our sister conference and to dialogue about ways to partner together toward mutual understanding and ministry.” Please pray for safe travels for our Wisconsin delegates, and for our brothers and sisters in South Korea during their time of holy conferencing.
