Jim Olson, who has been the Administrator of Schmitt Woodland Hills since May 1, 1995, is retiring on March 18, 2016. Long term care has been Jim’s passion for the past 40 years. Schmitt Woodland Hills and its mission of providing the very best care for the senior citizens of Richland County have been Jim’s focus for over two decades. After 21 years at SWH, Jim will be moving to greener pastures, literally! Amongst other things on his “to do” list, Jim plans on devoting more time to one of his other passions in life, raising beef cattle. There will be an open house to celebrate Jim’s accomplishments and his retirement on Saturday March 5th from 2 to 4 p.m. in the lounge and activity room on the 2nd floor at Schmitt Woodland Hills. Everyone is welcome to come and thank Jim and wish him well in his retirement.
