The Wisconsin Conference Technology Resource Team was formed to provide resources and training on a variety of technology topics of interest for congregations in Wisconsin. The team conducted a survey to prioritize the training desired, the training methodology, locations of training and timing. Thank you to the more than 200 people who participated in the survey. In terms of the top two training topics, responders across all districts requested training on church audio/visual and web design. Other choices that were a tad lower on the preference scale included social media, church management software, and newsletters. Most responders rated an in-person regional training as their first choice, followed by a central face-to-face training, and online delivery. The most popular time of the year for training was the spring and summer. Our team will be using this input to create and implement training this summer. We will keep you posted on time and place.
