Coulee District United Methodist Women Gathered to Celebrate Missions

United Methodist Women of the Coulee District gathered to worship, install new officers, and celebrate their dedication to missions across the United Methodist denomination. “The United Methodist Women are serving, praying, giving of time and money every day to help bring about peace, which all people desire around the world,” Coulee District President Sharon Anderson said in her welcoming speech. “Only in a peaceful society can a sustainable development hold momentum, and only in a global context where everyone has their basic needs met will peace take hold.” Keynote speaker Pastor Bill Busch talked about recent mission trips to Honduras, and Wisconsin Imagine No Malaria Field Coordinator This email address is being protected from spambots. Upcoming United Methodist Women District gatherings will be held September 20 in the Chippewa, Heartland and Nicolet districts; September 27 in the Capital and Metros Districts; and October 4 in the Winnebago District.
