The Wisconsin Hmong Caucus (WHC) hosted a service celebrating the appointment of Rev. Tsuker Yang to District Superintendent of the North Central District. It was held on June 2 at Christway UMC in Milwaukee. The program began at 10 a.m., and was followed by lunch.

Throughout the service there were several speakers from the Hmong Caucus: Rev. Neng Houa Vang, Pastor of Christway UMC, and Rev. Mao Her, Chair of WHC, opened the service with a welcome and introduction; Rev. Toua Thomas Thao, Pastor of New Hope Hmong Ministry, led the call to worship, Scripting reading, and dismissal; Rev. Tsu Chue Vang gave a tribute from the National Hmong Caucus; and Rev. Mao Her gave a tribute from the Wisconsin Hmong Caucus. Steven Xiong and Rev. Daniel Yang were special speakers during the service, and Bishop Jung was the keynote speaker. There was also a touching tribute from Rev. Tsuker’s family and a music performance from his children.
