Last Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28, the Wisconsin Annual Conference hosted a Training event of the new Module I of the National Plan For Hispanic/Latino Ministries to train Lay Missioners. There were 43 participants, including people from the Minnesota Annual Conference and the Michigan Annual Conference. 17 people from Wisconsin participated.

District Superintendent Forrest Wells shared about the event on Facebook, saying, “A joy to be at the Hispanic Plan For Ministry training in Monona today. It is Module One of Lay Leadership training focusing on Hispanic/Latinos as agents of change in the 21st century in the framework of Wesleyan social holiness and justice. People from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan are present for this national pilot training. I am thankful for the energy present, for excellent Wisconsin and national leadership, and for translation!”
