Wisconsin Conference staff celebrated Christmas on December 1st, 2017. They collected items for Shelter from the Storm Ministries, and competed to see which floor of the office building could bring in the most items. Shelter from the Storm Ministries aims to help their clients by getting to the root of their homelessness, and focuses on single homeless mothers and their children who need a “hand up.”

As of December 1, 2017, the Wisconsin Conference had collected 88 items to donate, and are continuing to collect additional items through Christmas. Conference staff also had a door decorating contest that was judged by the Bishop. Later that morning, they visited Willows Nursing Home to go Christmas Caroling. After singing for many of the residents in the community room, they walked the halls to sing for residents who were unable to leave their bedrooms. They ended their Christmas celebrations with lunch and an Ugly Christmas Sweater competition.
