Wesley UMC in Marshfield honored Veterans from World War II, Vietnam, and the Korean War with a ‘Quilt of Valor Presentation’ during their morning service on Sunday, November 12th. They presented homemade quilts to eight veterans to thank them for their service. The church quilting group had been working on the quilts for the past year.

Quilts of Valor Foundation, the national organization behind the quilts, says their mission is “to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.” They have donated more than 170,000 quilts to veterans since 2003. WAOW covered the church’s service and you can watch that video here. Wesley UMC also posted it on their Facebook page if you would like to share it with friends or family.
