On July 4, the youth of Racine: First UMC, served the community during a parade. This has been a long standing tradition at First Church dating back at least 20 years. The youth prepare and serve food as a fundraiser for their needs both at the church and in the community. The day began at 6 a.m. and they were hard at work until the end of the parade. “It gave our youth the opportunity to meet some of our neighbors and demonstrate their commitment to First United Methodist Church of Racine,” Media Coordinator Jeanne Whiteside said.
