Ground-breaking for a new sanctuary took place on May 29 at Holy Trinity United Methodist Church. It was eleven years ago that the ground was first broken on the property to build a church which joined together the Methodist congregations of Balsam Lake and Centuria into one location. The plan at that time was to use the large hall in a dual capacity for worship and fellowship. Phase II of the building plan called for a separate sanctuary. It is anticipated the construction on the new portion of the church will be completed by Christmas.
