Another semester of GED classes at Northcott Neighborhood House just finished up, and GED Coordinator Tyler Smoot said this fall, two Northcott students fully pass their GED tests! One of these graduates is applying to enroll at MATC for spring 2016! Another two Northcott students passed one or more of the GED subject tests. “These are the first GED-passing students from Northcott in two years, due in part to an update of the GED testing in 2014,” he said. “This semester, two MATC instructors worked with us in addition to eight volunteers. We are especially thankful to the many Methodist volunteers who contributed! You make a huge difference.” Click here for a flyer for the Spring 2016 semester (beginning Jan. 19), including a coupon for one free GED subject test.
