Building Worship Bridges Workshop
Saturday, October 12, 2019, 09:00am - 04:00pm

First United Methodist Church in Lori is hosting the Reverend Cathy Townley as she brings this workshop in order for participants to discover tools to accelerate neighborhood connections through worship. The Building Worship Bridges Workshop Covers:  for both contemporary and traditional worship venues...

  • WHY worship matters and produces NEW disciples.
  • HOW the service in your church is either a bridge, or a broken-bridge between your church and neighborhood.
  • WHAT practical things you can do right now to rebuild the worship bridge in your church and keep it strong.

At an economical rate of $30 per registrant, churches are encouraged to bring the pastor and entire worship team.  Register here or call the church at 608-372-4543 for more information.  Registration ends Wednesday, October 9, 2019.

The Reverend Cathy Townley is a worship specialist, focusing as a coach and consultant in new starts and existing churches.  She has extensive experience in the Healthy Church Initiative (HCI).  Cathy’s newest project is Building Worship Bridges (BWB), book and workbook, which she co-authored with Congregational Development Director Kay Kotan, and Bishop Bob Farr.  Out of this work has come an interactive training for churches including how to develop competent and compelling worship services in any church, and how to lead worship transformationally with passion and skill.  She has also co-written and produced MULTIPY with Congregational Development Director Ben Ingebreston.  MULTIPY helps churches start new worship services.
