Bishop Hee-Soo JungBishop Hee-Soo Jung

Bishop Hee-Soo Jung is Wisconsin’s United Methodist bishop and has served in this role since September of 2012. Prior to leading the Wisconsin Conference UMC, Bishop Jung served eight years as bishop of the Northern Illinois Conference (Chicago area) and as a pastor and District Superintendent in Wisconsin prior to that. Bishop Jung is President of United Methodist Commission on Relief (UMCOR) and a member of the Board of Directors for the General Board of Global Ministry, JustPeace and UM Korean National Plan.

Adam HamiltonAdam Hamilton

Adam Hamilton is the founding pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. He grew up in the Kansas City area, earned a B.A. degree in Pastoral Ministry from Oral Roberts and a Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Methodist University where he was awarded the B’nai B’rith Award in Social Ethics.

He was named one of the “Ten people to watch in America’s spiritual landscape” by Religion and Ethics Newsweekly. Named United Methodist Person of the Year for 2012 by the United Methodist Reporter for his leadership within the United Methodist Church, he has received numerous other awards for community service.

Adam has written 21 books, published by Abingdon Press and Harper Collins, including When Christians Get it Wrong, Seeing Gray in a World of Black and White, The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus, Making Sense of the Bible, and Revival. Adam and LaVon have been married 34 years and have two adult daughters and a granddaughter.

Dr. Marcia McFeeDr. Marcia McFee

Dr. Marcia McFee is an author, worship designer and leader, professor, preacher and artist. Her engaging and interactive style has been called “refreshing,” “inspiring,” and “unforgettable.” Marcia combines her background and experience in professional companies of music, theater and dance with a variety of worship and preaching styles in order to bring a fresh experience of the Gospel to each worship setting. Marcia has provided worship design and leadership at numerous international and regional gatherings.

As well as her experience with local church worship, Marcia specializes in designing and leading conference worship. Over the last 18 years, she has coordinated worship for countless regional and agency conferences. Most recently, she designed and led 29 worship services over a 10-day period for the international quadrennial General Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Dr. McFee received a Master’s of Theological Studies degree at Saint Paul School of Theology with a concentration in Preaching and Worship, where she recently received the Outstanding Graduate Award from the Alumni Association. She earned a Ph.D. in Liturgical Studies at the Graduate Theological Union with an allied field of Ethics. She has been a guest lecturer and adjunct faculty at twelve seminaries. Marcia is an avid skier and the co-author of " Spiritual Adventures in the Snow: Skiing and Snowboarding as renewal for Your Soul".

Steve ZekoffSteve Zekoff

In his 40 years in ministry, Steve Zekoff has served as pastor at Whitefish Bay UMC, as well as a variety of Conference-level appointments, including Lake Okoboji (Iowa) Camp Director, Director of Camping, Associate Council Director, and Flood Recovery Project Director for the Wisconsin Conference. He has also held several risk management roles for GCFA, and has served in his current role of Conference Benefits Officer since 2010. Garrett-Evangelical Seminary is establishing a scholarship in Steve’s name in honor of his 40 years of dedication to ministry. Steve will retire on July 1, 2017.

Rev. Dr. Amy Valdez BarkerRev. Dr. Amy Valdez Barker

Rev. Valdez Barker is the executive secretary of the Connectional Table, providing administrative leadership for the body that coordinates the mission, ministry and resources of The United Methodist Church. She is an ordained deacon from the North Georgia Annual Conference, and earned her doctoral degree in Christian education and congregational studies at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. In addition, she has a background in Christian ministry, program management and church administration, as well as 20 years of leadership at the general church and global church level. She was a delegate to the 2004 General Conference, and has worked for the Desert Southwest and Wisconsin Conferences.

Bishop Heon Young ChoiBishop Heon Young Choi

Bishop Choi is Resident Bishop of Dongbu (Eastern Region) Conference of the Korean Methodist Church. He has served as senior pastor at First Wonju Methodist Church, and is known as an effective Leader for Conference strategic planning and theological education. He has served Wonju Manchong Methodist Church and Hwa Chon First Methodist Church since 1986. He graduated from Methodist Theological University and Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. His ministry dedicated to global mission and ministry with young leaders in Korea.
