Entitled Bountiful Harvest Enough for All, Bishop Jung welcomed the attendees of Annual Conference to the “feast.” He said, “The main course at this Feast table is the worship of God together; offering thanksgiving and praising God’s bountiful harvest! Through the ages by the Spirit of God, through the people of God, we have formed the beloved Church, and sustained enough by the Spirit of God.”

Bishop Jung explained, “When we center our attention on the goodness, the love, and the saving power of God, rather than on our troubles and the problems of the world, we are able to lift our heads high in hope, and our rags of sorrow are exchanged for garments of gladness. ‘Enter God’s presence with gladness, and come into God’s courts with praise!’ says Psalm 100”

He said, “I come to the Scripture; it indicates the bountiful harvest enough for all, ‘the bread from the heaven, the bread of God.’ Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’”(John 6:35)

Bishop Jung went on to explain his dreams for Wisconsin, which include Communiutas--The Spirit of Unity, Communion--The Spirit of Relationship, and Compassion--The Spirit of Action. Read full sermon.
