Description

The Christian Disciple Farm provides an enhanced vacation Bible school day camp for children (ages 3-21) with special needs and their families in an outdoor farm environment. A wide variety of activities, education, worship, entertainment and music work together to bring the camp theme to life.

As a volunteer, you will be enabling the campers to learn more
about Christ and grow in their faith while you experience God's presence in a new and exciting way. Due to the outdoor setting of this camp and the special needs of the children, about 200 volunteers will be needed.

One of the most rewarding jobs is being a buddy to a child with special needs. Buddies facilitate the children so that they get the most out of their camp experience. Each child with a special need will have a full-time buddy that is assigned to them for the entire week. Some of the other volunteer jobs are: helping with crafts, games, fishing, rock-wall climbing, photography, grounds keeping, nature studies, horses, and helping in ate kitchen. The farm consists of 41 beautiful acres of woods, fields, fishing pond, and animals. Lunch is provided daily for campers and volunteers.
