"Generation to Generation" Grandparent Grandchild

Enjoy a time for grandparents and grand children to explore the northwoods. Pass on to your grand children some of that "valuable" knowledge such as, how to put a worm on a hook, how to throw a horse shoe ringer, how to make the perfect s'more, or how long to dunk your chocolate chip cookie in milk. We're sure you will have the time to pass on other important "know how" as well. Swimming, canoeing, crafts, songs and games, and campfire included. Horseback riding is an optional activity for an additional fee.

Just You and Me, Dad

A special time for dad to spend with his children. Bring one child or bring them all. Take time to do the things your dad did with you; go fishing, shoot some hoops, hike in the woods, make a backyard bird feeder, roast hot dogs around the campfire. All this and more, like swimming, canoeing, crafts, songs and games. Horseback riding is an optional activity for an additional fee.

Family Camp, "The Next Generation"

A family camp like no other. A nice blend of scheduled activities, choice times and "parents only" (that means kids only, too) activities. Come enjoy a week in the northwoods. We have lots to do at Whispering Pines like swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, campfires, games and songs, and more. But you will have the opportunity to explore local attractions such as the Crex Meadows National Wildlife Preserve and the Forts Folle Avione historical park. We will pack a lunch for you if we need to. Bring along your digital camera and create a special camp memory Friday morning (AKA scrap booking) Come, relax and enjoy a week on the shores of Spirit Lake. Horseback riding will be available for an additional expense.

"Not Ready for Prime Time" Sports Camp

This is a camp for those who to try sports that are not "top shelf" stuff. Learn all about Lacrosse, become a pro at 4 square, test your agility at dodge ball, and climb like a mountain goat up the climbing wall. And just wait till you see what sports we play in the lake! Lots of regular camp activities will be included, as well. Be sure to check this camp out. The more the merrier (and rowdier!!).

Saddle Up 2 (Girls Only)

Campers continue to hone their riding and horse care skills. With more riding time, campers do more trotting and try their hand at cantering. Fishing Camp

Campers this week spend more time "catching" than fishing. Not only will they catch a boat load of fish, they will catch lots of new friends and lots of summer camp adventures. On the way to a week of swimming, canoeing, making crafts, playing games, and evening campfires, campers are sure to catch the spirit of what church camp is all about. Giddy Up Mini S-W

Whispering Pines staff will handle with care our beginning horse back riders. Learn the basic riding skills and have plenty of time for swimming, crafts, Bible study, campfires, and games. Junior Counselor Training

This is the camp for older youth who have "been there, done that" but still want to be at camp. For half the cost you will receive twice the reward as you learn not only how camp can be special for you, but also how you can make camp special for others. At the end of the week, campers get to choose to come another week-free- to work as a junior counselor. Leadership skills, different from last year, will be discussed and practiced. Begins Sunday at 2:30 pm and concludes Friday at 2:30 pm

Discovery

In this camp, kids discover just how much fun summer camp can be. Swimming, boating, nature crafts, hiking, and some great games are only a part of the fun. We will cruise the lake in our BIG canoe, camp out under the stars, and make friends with kids from around the state. Sign up for Discovery Camp and our staff will "handle with care" our precious campers. Begins Sunday at 2:30 pm and concludes Friday at 2:30 pm

Middle High Adventures

A bit restless? Then come to our Middle High Adventures Camp. You won't have time to sit still. One day you will be canoeing down the St. Croix River, the next you will be going up a climbing tower. The next day you will be on the level as you pedal the Gandy Dancer Bike Trail. All week long you will explore what it means to handle with care each new adventure in your faith journey. This is a 3-day introduction for the first-time horse camper. Learn the basic riding skills and have plenty of time for swimming, crafts, Bible study, campfires, and games. Campers have the challenge of riding a different horse each day. Learning to adapt to the unique personality and traits of each horse is only one of the new challenges. Campers experience the "ups and downs" of riding when going along our new jumping trail. The best part of this camp is spending time with other youth who love camp and love horses. Up a Creek River Trip

Spend the week canoeing down one of the nation's best National Scenic Riverways, the St. Croix River. Campers pitch their tents, cook their own meals, and share fun and fellowship around the evening camp fire. We move at a relaxed pace with ample time to enjoy the eagles soaring overhead or to spot otters in the river. A great opportunity to play and pray and learn how to handle God's creation with care. Begins Sunday at 2:30 pm and concludes Friday at 2:30 pm

Senior High Adventures

This is a great opportunity for youth who want to "handle with care" each new summer camp adventure. Not only do youth learn that they need to help one another with rock climbing at Interstate Park or canoeing on the St. Croix River, but they need to handle with care their faith journey as well. This camp is all wet (and a little bit wild!). In addition to swimming and canoeing, campers will have the opportunity to go tubing on Spirit Lake, take a day trip down the St. Croix River, and top off the week with a trip to Wild Mountain Water Park. Without a Paddle River Trip

A river adventure so relaxing, you might not need a paddle. While cruising the St. Croix River, campers have the time to chill in the hot summer sun.
