Summer Camps
Whispering Pines offers a wide variety of camping opportunities for children and youth who are going into grades 3-12. We also have opportunities for families to come to camp together, as well as a special needs camp. Check out the schedule and then read about the sessions in which you might be interested.
Who can come to camp?
Whispering Pines is a United Methodist ministry that welcomes everyone, young and old alike, into an outdoor setting to be called, nurtured, and equipped for discipleship. Any child, any person, or any family seeking to spend a week participating in a Christian community where all are loved at children of God, are invited to attend any of our summer camp programs.
2008 Theme
"Handle With Care" is our summer camp theme for 2008. During the week, Campers will explore what it means to live in a loving relationship with God and all creation. Daily Bible lessons and themes will help campers to focus on how we can all handle with care God's creation in our daily lives.
This is my fourth time being at camp. The counselors are great, the horses are hilarious, and the cabins are beautiful. I come back every year because it is a great experience." Summer camper
