These are some of the ways in we reach out to others:

• Homeless Helpers: this group of Waupaca UMC adults and youth works with several homeless shelters, soup kitchens and inner city community centers, including Northcott Neighborhood House and Casa Maria in Milwaukee and a shelter in Green Bay.
• Community Bread Basket: a free sack lunch is served from our kitchen every Saturday and we host a free dinner every Tuesday.
• Stephen Ministry is a caring ministry by trained lay people who lend an ear to help others through life crises.
• We collect baked goods for the homeless veterans program at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
• Every spring, our youth take part in a Homeless Awareness Night, sleeping outside in makeshift shelters.
• We are responsible for the annual Waupaca CROP Walk.
• We support the Waupaca Food Pantry with a monthly collection and offer a drop-off cart for food donations.
• Warm-Up America knitters and crocheters make squares for afghans for the needy.
• We are a supporter of the Winnebagoland Interfaith Needs Response ministry that accepts and refurbishes donated cars for people caught in the trap of needing reliable transportation to get a job, but needing a job in order to afford transportation.
• Participation in a summer mission trip.
• We help support a sister church in Czechoslovakia.
• We help support missionaries, Paul and Roxanne Webster, in Zambia.
• We take part in Angel Tree prisoner family and Samaritan's Purse Christmas gift projects.
• Emergency relief, Kiva Group, Heifer Project and more.
