BooyahOur May 4 booyah made $684.75. Booyah Sundays will resume in the fall and continue through winter and spring. Our next Booyah Sundays will be Sept 7 and Oct 12. Profits from Booyah sales go to our Debt Retirement Fund. On the Move in Congregations: Walking with JesusExciting news for April Walking with Jesus will begin on April 7, 7pm with an orientation session. This is walking program that puts one on the move walking daily the summary of Jesus travels based on the Gospel of Mark. We will meet each Monday evening for six weeks to compare notes and encourage each other as we make simple healthy lifestyle changes in body, mind and spirit. As the weather improves, we hope to do some group walks in preparation for TA DA: The Bellin Walk/Run on June 14 as a group of the United Methodist Churches of Green Bay . We will join in celebrating Bellin's 100 year anniversary. Education CommitteeWe would like to thank all of our Sunday School teacher's for their dedication this year. Thank you parents for bringing your children each week to grow with God. May 18 was our last week of Sunday School. We had about 95 people attend our all-church potluck. What a Celebration!!! A special thank you to all who helped set up the tables and chairs and clean up at the end. Enjoy your Summer!!! Connie Cross and Jean Johnson Book ClubJune book club is…Talk Before Sleep by Elizabeth Berg. It is a short easy read and available at the library. Family Fun NightWednesday August 13, 2008 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.Family Fun Night at Suamico United Methodist Church .There will be something for everyone! Children going into 5 th grade and younger will gather for fun filled games, crafts, music and more, while the adults enjoy some fellowship and workshop/activity time. Youth groupers can join in the fun by sharing your talents as team leaders in games, crafts, music, etc… What a fun way to earn those volunteer hours for school. Let us do the cooking! A free meal will be provided. Open to all congregation members, friends and family. Look for more details in the up coming weeks.
