Welcome to Michael Lund Ziegler our new Music Director!
Michael will be directing the senior choir for Sunday services , leading rehearsals, as well as working with Pastor Dee Merritt on song selection for Sunday services. He is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin -Green Bay (UWGB), with a major in Music and a Minor in Education. His previous experiences include being a Section Leader in the Lawrence University Symphonic Band and Concert Choir as well as Section Leader in the UWGB Wind Symphony. Currently he is working with the Green Bay East High
School Advanced String Orchestra as a Student Director. Michael's introduction to music began in St. Cloud , Minnesota . There he and his mother became involved in the area community theater. In his elementary years of school in Seymour , Wisconsin he joined the band program and continued on with his passion for music by attending the University of Lawrence . It was there that Michael was recruited by then director Richard Bjella, to be involved in the Concert Choir. Being part of this program truly inspired Michael to pursue a career of Music Education. In addition to music, Michael enjoys spending time with his friends, is an occasional runner, and professes to be a Packer's Fan. Michael has a future goal of being a high school music teacher. If you have an interested in joining the choir or speaking with Michael about your interest in music, practices are held in the Music room on Tuesday evenings 6:45 PM .
