Facts about Booyah Sundays . . . . . .
· The main reason for having Booyah Sundays is to raise money to go towards the debt reduction on the new
building.
· We are now cooking three kettles of booyah and raise $900 - $1000 per Booyah Sunday.
· Booyah Sunday profits also have paid for the outdoor Booyah signs.
· Booyah Sunday keeps the kitchen supplied with coffee, filters, sugar, creamer, dish soap, and garbage bags.
· Booyah Sunday provides plates, bowls, cups, and napkins that are used for various events at the church.
· The only expense to our church for a Booyah Sunday is for utilities.
· About 50 non-member people are called the day before a Booyah Sunday to remind them about our booyah sale.
· Many non-church people from the area come Booyah Sunday into the Fellowship Hall to purchase booyah and
desserts.
· UMW is able to raise money for local, area, conference, national, or international mission projects.
· Booyah Sunday provides a gathering place for our church families to have lunch together.
· Booyah Sunday is a time of fellowship for all who come.
· Our next Booyah Sunday is May 3rd!
