Though the world is producing more food than ever, millions of people around the globe still go hungry. Even right here in Wisconsin, many thousands of people face food shortages for their families, and are in a very difficult position of needing food, but not knowing where to turn to for help. Groups such as the Hunger Task Force partner with other organizations to assist the many people in our communities who need aid.
Hunger is a problem for people all ages -- young children, seniors, and everyone in between. Our mission is to find ways to end hunger, because we believe that every person has a right to adequate food obtained with dignity. We compassionately provide food directly to people who need it most, and we also work to drive awareness of this enormous problem, which is often hidden in our communities.
