us for Sunday School!
Easter Egg Hunt Toddlers age 2 and 3 are invited to participate in entry-level Sunday School experiences designed specifically for them. Basics of faith are introduced through play and a variety of creative hands-on activities. Children begin to learn that God created and loves them, that Jesus is their friend, and that their church is a safe and welcoming place. Teachers Steffenie and Josh Williams meet with the toddlers in room LL19. Age 4 and early 5-year-old preschoolers experience a variety of basic Bible stories throughout the year. Lessons include stories, prayer time, music, fun activities, and a variety of opportunities for busy little bodies to move with the Spirit! Teacher Laurie Peterson meets with the preschoolers in room LL17.
Sunday School children will begin a new four-week Sunday School rotation on January 13. In the cold days of winter, the children will celebrate Jesus’ love by claiming that "Jesus’ love is COOL!" But we also celebrate the warm feelings of knowing that we are loved by God. During this unit, children will share the warmth of God’s love with others by creating really cool fleece lap blankets to give to homebound members. We hope the blankets will help them know that they are remembered and important in our community of faith, and we hope they will help keep them warm during these cool winter days! Learning Stations
