Acolyte Program
Children in grade three and older take turns serving as acolytes for the
weekly 9:30 a.m. worship celebrations. A brief training process is
provided for interested children. For more information about how your
child can volunteer to participate in this ministry, please contact the
church office

Stewardship is an important part of Christian living, and
is emphasized in our Sunday School ministries. As Christians, we show
gratitude for all we have received by using our gifts faithfully, and by
sharing our gifts of time, talent and energy. Children are encouraged to
share their gifts in a variety of ways. Offering envelopes are issued,
and some students choose to give a gift of money every Sunday in their
own envelopes. Theses envelopes are collected in the Sunday School
classrooms or may be placed in the offering plate during worship
services in the sanctuary.
More
information about the Gift Ark program and other special mission
projects (“Bring a Bear, Show You Care”, Christmas gift bags, Youth
Educational Supplies, etc.) will be sent home from Sunday School and
published in The
Chimes at appropriate times throughout the school year.
Music Makers: Children in
grades K-5 are invited to participate in Music Makers at 9:45 a.m. on
Sunday mornings in room LL10. We will be learning a
children’s musical to be presented November 4, 2007.
Special
Musical Opportunities For Children and Youth
All children through middle school are welcome to participate in
several musicals that are fully costumed and staged (regardless of
whether they are in a choir). Contact Tina
