Through words and actions, Jesus taught us to honor and learn from children. We at First Church believe that children are an integral part of our church community. Thus, we have educational programs, service and fellowship opportunities to benefit the children themselves, their families, and the larger church family.

Some programs, such as our weekly 9:30 a.m. Sunday School hour, provide opportunities for children to worship and learn together with other children of similar ages. Children come to 9:30 a.m. worship and are dismissed after the pastor’s “Conversation with the Children.” Children are escorted to classrooms on the Lower Level.

Child care for infants and toddlers is available every Sunday morning from 9:15 a.m. till 12:00 p.m.

First Church provides a wide variety of activities designed to meet the needs and interests of children. Please read on to learn more specifically about our Sunday programs, as well as other opportunities for children in our church. Check out our picture page as well!
