Madison's First
Congregation!
The season of Lent is a time for reflection, soul searching and
rededicating ourselves to God. The forty days of Lent are reminiscent of
Jesus’ forty days in the wilderness; as he withdrew "from the world"
after his baptism. We invite you to accept our invitation to come closer
to God. Through worship, study, prayer and reflection we offer many
opportunities to connect with God during this special time.

journey at First Church this year.

Why I Believe in
Eternal Life.
Our Mission
We seek to embody grace and hospitality in the manner
of Jesus, nurturing our diverse spiritual journeys and joining together
as a servant community to help realize a more loving and just world.
Our Vision
In grateful response to the expansive
love of God,
we offer ourselves and our community of faith
in answer to the call to “do justice, love kindness and
walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)
Connecting to and experiencing God will be
central to all we do.
