On June 9-10, the Sunday School children of Cudahy UMC participated in a Spirit Weekend sleepover. They did craft projects, made refreshments for the coffee hour after church on Sunday, and prepared for service. On Sunday, they acted as Litergists, Ushers and Acolytes as well as served in the kitchen. During the previous weeks, they wrote the prayers, and selected scripture readings and hymns. This was all done by seven children ranging from 2nd to 6th grade. This is the fourth time they have done service and their second spirit weekend. It is truly incredible to see what children so young can accomplish.
